THE OFFICE OF THE DEAD. 1o. 100 days Indulgence to all the faithful, as often as they shall devoutly say, of obligation, this office, on the days prescribed by the rubrics of the Roman Breviary. 2o. 50 days Indulgence to all the faithful, every time they say it out of their own devotion. THE DE PROFUNDIS (AFTER NIGHTFALL). 1o. 100 days Indulgence, if, at the sound of the bell, at the first hour after nightfall, the faithful shall say this Psalm devoutly on their knees, with the following . and R.:V. Plenary Indulgence once a year, on any one day of their choice, to those who perform this pious exercise exactly during the course of the year, provided they have confessed and communicated. N.B.-Those who cannot read, or do not know by heart the De Profundis, may gain the same Indulgences by reciting the Our Father and Hail Mary, with the V. and R., as above.
