A Supplement

To an act entitled "An act to prescribe the times, places, and manner of choosing Senators to represent this state in the Senate of the United States."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That from and after the passing of this act, each branch of the legislature shall appoint a teller, and nominate one or more candidates for the office of Senator of the United States, and communicate the same to each other, any time prior to the meeting of the members of the two houses in the chamber of the House of Representatives, for the purpose of electing a Senator, and that the second WedRepeal of nesday in December shall be the day for such election ; and part of forthat so much of the act to which this is a supplement as is mer aet. hereby altered, be, and the same is hereby repealed.
