The edition chiefly made use of is that of C G Zumpt (Berlin, 1831). The principal books of reference consulted are Forcellini's Lexicon, Nizolius's Lexicon Ciceronianum, Orelli's Onomasticon Tullianum, Madvig's and Roby's Latin Grammars, and Ramsay's Manual of Roman Antiquities.
