The Sick Diet Kitchen is accommodated in the wellappointed room in the back building (vide Diet Kitchen).

The Home for Consumptives is located on the upper floors, separate wards being provided for male and female patients, who are destitute of an abiding place (vide Home for Consumptives).

The Board of Commissioners of Public Charities of the State of Pennsylvania,

Have supervision of all reformatory, correctional, and charitable institutions of the State; and all such institutions now receiving or that may hereafter desire to receive State aid shall annually give notice to the general agent, on or before the first day of November in each year, of the amount of any application for State aid that they may propose to make, and of the several purposes to which such aid, if granted, is to be applied.
