Resolved, That it be adopted as a Standing Resolution, to be printed each year in the Journal, that in all elections by this Convention, no printed ballots will be allowed, except such as are printed by order of the Convention.-Convention of 1873.
Resolved, That it be adopted as a Standing Resolution, to be printed each year in the Journal, that the Parishes of this Diocese are affectionately and earnestly requested to select their Deputies to the Convention from among such of their people as come to the Holy Communion.-Convention of 1873.
EXTRACT FROM THE MINUTES OF THE STANDING COMMITTEE. PUBLISHED BY ORDER.
WHEREAS, The Standing Committee find themselves in many instances of application for recommendation to Candidateship, or Ordination, hindered by the incompleteness and irregularities of the papers presented; the result of which is inconvenience and hindrance to those seeking ordination; therefore,
Resolved, That the careful attention of the Clergy of the Diocese and of all applicants be called to the need of precise observance of all points named in the Canons of General Convention concerning such cases.
