[The second book printed at St. Albans, and the first ed. of the St. Albans Chronicle. No absolutely perfect copy is known. This copy wanted the Table, 7 leaves; sign. a8 and second sign. Ii and 8; and KI.2.7.8. 22 leaves inlaid, plain margins of 6 leaves mended, the remainder being sound, with large margins (11 by 8 in.). A perfect copy should have 288 leaves. This was the Ashburnham copy (£180), and had been completed by facsimiles of the 15 leaves wanted.-Catalogue.]
