SPECIAL NOTICE.

The attention of the Trade throughout the country is solicited to this important sale, offering a very large variety of popular and salable Books, new and fresh, and regular stock.

All of which is to be SOLD BY AUCTION TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER, without any reserve whatever, affording an opportunity to purchase on such favorable terms as cannot be obtained in any other way.

TERMS OF SALE.-On all purchases from the whole Catalogue amounting to $1000 and upward, four and six months' credit; on purchases from the whole Catalogue, less than $1000 and more than $300, four months' credit; and on all purchases less than $300, cash without discount.

Purchases at Trade Sale.-Parties who cannot attend the sale can have their orders to purchase faithfully executed by the Auctioneers, without expense.

IN SENDING ORDERS TO PURCHASE,

Give the number of the page in the Catalogue, the name of the Book, the number of each Book wanted, and the outside limit per volume. Where no limits are given, purchases will be made as much below the regular net wholesale price as circumstances may warrant. Orders should be sent in at least four or five days before the sale commences. A personal attendance at the sale is much more desirable.
