Advice to a Young Scientist Sir Peter Medawar began research in Professor's H. W. Florey's laboratory in Oxford in the early days of the development of penicillin. He investigated the causes of and sought a possible remedy for the rejection by human beings of organs and tissues transplanted from other human beings. He was award the Nobel Prize in 1960. |
