EXCESSIVELY RARE, and also important as an early literary monument of the modern Greek language. The text is preceded by a Glossary of difficult Homeric words retained in the paraphrase; many of which are very simple indeed. When the paraphrase was made is not mentioned, but Nicolaus Lucanus was probably a contemporary of the printer.
