At the elevation of the Sacred Hoft, make an act of faith, and adore the victim of your falvation expofed to your fight under the veil of bread: Then go on thus:

Here in like manner, as above, adore the blood of your falvation with a lively faith and most profound humility: Then go on:

NOW, O Lord, calling to mind with the great

dead, and his glorious afcenfion into heaven, we offer thy most excellent majesty, of thy own gifts bestowed upon us, a pure, holy and fpotlefs victim; the holy bread of eternal life, and the cup of our falvation.

Look down therefore upon them, O Lord, with a propitious and pleafing countenance, and accept them, as thou waft pleafed to accept the offerings of thy righteous fervant Abel, and the facrifice of our great father Abraham, and that which thy high priest Melchifedech fered to thee, a holy facrifice and fpotlefs victim.
