Sitting at Oxford/Cambridge one may utter this lopsided comment without having to undergo the suffering of millions of Hindus at the hands of Muslims who were uprooted from East Bengal that was their motherland from time immemorial. For neither Communal Award of Ramsay or Poona Pact of between Ambedkar and Gandhi, the root of all evils, Upper caste Hindus were not taken into confidence they were never given a fair hearing. The 1/5th of the total electorate was too meager and unjustified. Where 55% per cent got 48% 455 Hindus got only 31%. So the seed of communalism if any in Bengal is due to the strong Muslim lobby and the machinations of Gandhi-Ambedkar. Please answer.
