Opus Genealogicum Catholicum de Praecipuis Familiis Imperatorum, Regum, Principum, aliorumque, Procerum Orbis Christiani, editum studio et opera Eliae Reusneri Leorini, old style German morocco, stamped in elaborate mosaic ornaments in relief, and finely painted in various colours on a gold groundwork; within a large oval frame the extremities of which extend to the edges of the upper cover, is the portrait, armorial bearings, and mottoes of the Emperor Charles V.; and on the under cover within straight compartments and a diamond-shaped frame the Emperor's large coat of arms; the edges gauffred and gilt, and painted in colours with the Imperial Eagle and other ornaments, the back nearly plain; a most elaborate piece of old German binding, but mended in some places, from the Double library, at the sale of which it produced 1,050 fr. [This vellum copy of the third edition of the Decretals of Pope Boniface VIII., from the press of Peter Schoiffer, was possibly unique, since the only one known to Brunet was that in Edwards's catalogue in 1796, which is most likely this one. The lower margin of one leaf in the centre of the volume cut off; and the leaf with the printer's colophon, in red, with the device beneath, though complete, cut down to a slip measuring 7 in. by 5 in.-ED.] 6465 Boyd (Zacharie). The last Battell of the Soule in Death, divided into eight conferences, the first complete edition, with two titles to vol. i.
