**The four preceding prints, attributed by Bartsch to Nicoleto da Modena, are by Baldini, and are of the most extraordinary rarity; there should be six to complete the set of Petrarch's Triumphs, but no complete set is known to exist in any collection, either public or private; three are to be found in the British Museum, with which number Bartsch was also acquainted, though he mentions that without doubt the six are in existence; at the bottom of each print is a verse in Italian, which in the present instance has been cut off.
