In preparing the DAY-SCHOOL SINGER it has been my aim to produce a Simple, Progressive and Complete Elementary System of Music; also to embrace a New and Choice Collection of
Little Folks' Song Lessons,
Practical School Songs,
and a few Familiar Aymns and Tunes. So far as I have accomplished my object may be seen by all who give its pages a careful examination.
Thanks are due Mr. C. G. Allen for aid in the Elementary Department; also to F. C. Gough, S. J. Vail, and others, for their valuable contributions.
