CHAPTER 1.

AN ACT to amend chapter 3, of the laws of 1891, entitled, "An act relating to public printing, and amendatory of section 344, of chapter 20, of the revised statutes."

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 1, of chapter 3, of the Wisconsin laws of 1891, entitled, "An act relating to pub- made the lic printing and amendatory of section 344, of paper. chapter 20, of the revised statutes," is hereby amended by striking therefrom the word "Milwaukee" where the same first occurs in said section, and inserting in lieu thereof the word "Madison," and by striking therefrom the word "Milwaukee" where the same occurs second in the section, and before the word "Journal," in the thirteenth line thereof, and inserting in lieu thereof the words "Wiscorsin State," so that the said section, when so amended, shall read as follows: Section 344. The legislature shall declare some newspaper, published at Madison, the official state paper, in which shall be officially published all the laws, advertisements, proclamations and communications of every nature, which may now or hereafter be required by law to be published in the official state paper. Any publication from either of the state departments in such paper shall be deemed official. Until a further designation is
