Manu Kant was born at Patiala, Punjab but brought up & educated in Chandigarh. He also lived in the erstwhile USSR from where he did his post-graduation in TV journalism from the prestigious Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow in 1993. Manu is also a freelance journalist & his articles have appeared in The Tribune, Chandigarh, The Indian Express, Pioneer & Kolkata based weekly Frontier. He has already published 8 poetry books among which is a satirical book of poems on Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Mann Ki Baat.
