I, WILLIAM L. MARTIN, the Commissioner appointed under the provisions of an act of the General Assembly of Alabama approved February 18, 1895, entitled "An act to provide for the revision, codification, digesting and promulgation of the statutes of this state, both civil and criminal,” and, under the provisions of an act of the General Assembly of Alabama approved February 17, 1897, entitled "An act to provide for the publication and distribution of the Code of Alabama," charged with the duty of supervising the publication of the Code of Alabama adopted by an act of the General Assembly of Alabama approved February 16, 1897, entitled "An act to adopt a code of laws for the State of Alabama," do hereby certify that I have compared the Code, as printed, with the original manuscript as adopted by the General Assembly, and that the Code, as printed, is the same as adopted by the General Assembly.
