The cominander in chief is pleased to consis in the Benares division order of the 7th instant, directing the following Officers, Members of Committee, of which Brevet Colonel S. smith is president, to take chai ge of the enount horses passed into the service from the Ghazee pore stud, and alotted to corps; viz. Captain E. Guest, of His Majesty's 16th Lancers, to the charge of the horses for that corps and His Majesty's 11tti Light Dragoons, captain it. Aitken, of the 6th Light Cavalry, to the charge of horses for the Horse A tillery and Regiments of 1 ight Cavalry, and Lieut. T. Moore, of the 8th Light cavalry, to the charge of horses for the Madi as Presidency, also directing a Native Oficer, with a party of distinoumited troopers, from the 8th Light Cavalry, to proceed towards the Presidency in charge of horses for the Troup of Horse Artillery at Dum-Duin.

The Cawnpole artillery division order of the 27th ultimo, by Colonel G. Pollock, C. B., appointing Bombardier Owen Nu. gent, of the 34 company 3d battalion, aud Guinner H. Farley, of the 3d troop 2d brigade horse artillery, to act as laboratorymen during the annual practice, is consit med. The station order of the 8th ultimo, hy Major A. Carnegy. commanding at Banda, directing Assistant Surgeon J. H. Serrell, of the left wing 53d, to afford medical aid to the left wing 15th Regt. N. I., is confirmed. The commander in Chief is pleased to direct the following reunovals: colonel John Stapples Harriot, (on furlough) from the 70th to the 42d Regt. N. I. Colonel Felix Vincent Raper, from the 42d to the 70th Regt. The leave of absence, for six inonths, granted to Lieut. A. ti Duncan, of the 431 test. N. 1 , and Aid-de-camp to Brigadier. General A. Duncan, in General Ortlets of the 13th ultimo, is to be calculated slo in the 12th instant, instead of the date the rein specified. Ensign Alexander Carre Boswell is renoved srom the 59th to the 19th Regt. N. I., as junior of his rank. Sub-conductor Jereinial Leary, now at the arsenal of Fort Williau, is appointed to the expense in agazine at Dutil-Dulu. Quarter Master Sergeant Christopher Antisell, of the hill rangers, is appointed Sergeant Major to the corps, vice Hind prouloted to Sub-Conductor. The undermentioned oshcers have leave of absence : Cavalry–Unposted cornet C. G.
