fulness, and scriptural instruction in behalf of those committed to their charge, together with a consistent example of holy tempers and conduct, they may entertain a good hope that however they may be occasionly disappointed, they are glorifying God; and here, as in every other christian duty, "in due time they shall reap, if they faint not," for their work shall be surely “accepted in the Beloved"! They are substantially proving themselves to be the true friends of their servants, and are effectually "serving God in their generation." They shall also reap the eternal gratitude of many whose feet (which would otherwise have gone astray after their idols) they have been instrumental in turning into the way of peace. THE HAND.
