"The cheapest and perhaps the best collection of Music crer offered to the public in the same compass. Eight folio volumes for a guinea and a half is little more than the price of waste paper: yet the collection is extremely valuable, and comprehends many of the most admired old English Songs, Glees, Madrigals, as well as Instrumental Pieces; and some of the best Italian and German Music (the latter provided with English words), both vocal and instrumental, ancient and modern. In all there are upwards of 400 pieces, which, taken at only one shilling each, and this is much less than one-fourth of what many of them could be bought for separately. would amount to no less than £20.
