This volume, though imperfect, is valuable on account of "The famous Voyage of SIR FRANCIS DRAKE into the South Sea and there thence about the whole Globe of the Earth," begun 1577, ended 1580, on 6 unpaged leaves. GEORGE TURBERVILLE's account of MUSCOVIA, written in 1568, describing the manners of the country and people to his friends in London, is in VERSE, as are the 1st and 2nd Voyages of ROBERT BAKER to GUINEA, in 1562-63, at pages 130 to 142.
