"Theological learning is the profeffion of the Clergy, and it may jufily be faid to every ignorant Minifter of the GafpelThou which teacheft another, teacheft thou not thyself?" Bishop of Llandaff.

In drawing up the following Catalogue, I have derived much affiftance from the Lifts of the Bishops of Lincoln, Chefter, and Llandaff, and likewife from the hints of fome learned and judicious friends. The Books of which the titles are printed in Italics will be found to conduce much to the elucidation of the refpective fubjects; and the whole Collection would form an excellent library for a Clergyman who wishes not merely to commence, but to continue the course of his profeffional ftudies.
