In the midst of those who hate us, Cheers us when opprest with woe. Precious is thy word of promise, May thy name our spirits cheer. CCXXII. "Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief." Since all that I meet shall work for my good, The bitter is sweet, the medicine is food; Though painful at present, 'twill cease before long; And then, oh, how pleasant the conqueror's song. CCXXIII. Psalm. xci. INCARNATE God! the soul that knows Thy wisdom, faithfulness, and love, Angels, unseen, attend the saints, The angels' Lord himself is nigh Crosses and changes are their lot, CCXXIV.
