The Numbers to the articles in the present Catalogue are in continuation of those of a previous one of Books in the same class, published by T. RODD in 1844; the greater portion of the Books in which are still on sale. In the present Catalogue will be found many curious and uncommon works in the various branches of THEOLOGY AND ECCLESIASTICAL HISTORY, especially on the controverted points between the Roman Catholic and Protestant Churches: Early Works relating to the Reformation; and to such points of discussion as exist between the several Protestant communions. Also, numerous pieces relating to the CHURCH OF ENGLAND, its LITURGY and ARTICLES: to the NONJURORS; and to those points of its Doctrine and Discipline which are now so prominently before the public. |
