Die Präamble. Sie besteht: a) im Eingange, welcher die Gründe entwidelt, warum eine Feststellung der Thronfolge nothwendig sey. b) in der Nullitäts-Erklärung der ersten Ehe. C. An Acte concerning the Attaynder of Syr Thomas More Knyght. Stat. of the Realm III. p. 528. Where the Kyng our Soveraigne Lorde that nowe is by his severall lettres patentes wherof the one bereth date the vidi day of May in the XIII yere of the reigne of our said Soveraigne Lorde, and the other bereth date the xvj day, of January in the xvj yere of the reigne of our said Soveraigne Lorde, for the true and faithfull servyce and counsell whiche our said Soveraigne Lorde ententyd and trusted to be don to his Highnes by Sir Thomas More late of Chelsey' in the Countie of Midd. Knyght, of his owne mere mocion and liberalitie did gyve and graunte to the said Sir Thomas More and to his heires dyvers Manours Landes Tenementes and other Hereditamentes conteyned and specified in the same severall lettres patentes, to have and to holde to the same Sir Thomas More and to his heyres accordyng and under such manner and fourme as in the said severall lettres patentes is expressed and declared: And forasmoche as the said Sir Thomas More contrary to the truste and confidence |
