T the Provincial Parliament, begun and holden at Quebec, the eighth day of January, Anno Domini One thoufand eight hundred and one, in the "Forty Second Year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by "the Grace of GOD, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, KING, "Defender of the Faith, &c.

"And from thence continued by feveral Prorogations, to the eighth day of February, "Ore thousand eight hundred and three, being thet hird Seffion of the third Provincial "Parliament of LOWER-CANADA."

An ACT for the better Regulation of the Militia of this Province, and for repealing certain A&ts or Ordinances therein mentioned.

HEREAS an A&t paffed by the Legiflature of this Province, in the thirty
fourth year of His prefent Majefty's Reign, intituled, " An A to provide for the
"greater fecurity of this Province by the better regulation of the Militia thereof, and for re-
"pealing certain Acts or Ordinances relating to the fame," was by another Act paffed in

Vu 7U qu'un Acte paffé par la Législature de cette Province, dans la trente-quatrième année du Règne de Sa préfente Majefté, intitulé, "Acte qui pourvoit à la plus grande fureté de cette Province par une meilleure organifation de la Milice, et quis 34. Geo: III, "rappelle certains Alles ou Ordonnances relatifs à irelle," a été amendé et continué par Cap. IV.
