Lover's Moods: A Sonnet-Sequence. The Sonnets composing the above sequence were written at various times during the last four years of the author's life. They are intended to represent the incidents of a love-passion, not literally or realistically, but from a poetical or idealistic standpoint, and are without doubt the late Bertram Dobell's greatest poetical achievement. Ten of the Sonnets were printed in The Poetry Review in March, 1914, and attracted a good deal of attention.
