While I draw this fleeting breath, CCXXVI. "The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the rightsous runneth into it and is safe.-Prov. xviii. 10. JESUS, lover of my soul, May I to thy bosom fly, Hide me, O my Saviour, hide, Thou, O Christ, art all I want; More than all in thee I find: Just and holy is thy name, Other refuge I have none; Hangs my helpless soul on thee; Leave, ah! leave me not alone, Still support and comfort me. Job xxix. 2. OH! for a closer walk with God, Where is the blessedness I knew, What peaceful hours I once enjoy'd How sweet their mem ry still! But they have let an aching void, The world can never fill. Return, O holy Dove, return, I hate the sins that made thee mourn, The dearest idol I have known, Tear it, dear Jesus, from thy throne, So shall my walk be close with God, CCXXIX. Rom. v. 5.
